ManyOne Application Suite
Reinstall Instructions
Because of the number and nature of the changes in recent versions of the ManyOne Application Suite, if you have ever had the ManyOne Application Suite installed on your computer, you must use the following procedure to install this release. Click on a step to view detailed instructions.
We recommend that you bookmark this page, so that you may easily return to it, before starting this procedure.
- Step 1: Download the latest installer

Download the appropriate installer from the list below, and save it to your Windows Desktop. (Detailed download instructions are available below.)
There currently is no "ManyOne Internet Service", as a result, there are no releases of the ManyOne Application Suite for it.

- Determine which installer in the list above is right for you.
- Right-click on that link and select "Save Link As..." (or "Save Target As...").
- When the "Save As..." dialog appears, click on Desktop at the left and then click the Save button.
- The ManyOne installer will download to your Desktop. Wait for it to complete before proceeding.
- Step 2: Uninstall older versions

Before installing the latest release of the ManyOne Application Suite, you must verify that all previous versions have been removed from your computer. Follow the instructions below to uninstall the program.
Detailed Uninstall Instructions:
- Click on the Start button and select Control Panel
- In the Control Panel, double-click on the Add or Remove Programs item to open it.
- When the Add or Remove Programs screen opens, locate the ManyOne item.
- Click on it to highlight it, then click on its Change/Remove button at the right.
- Select Yes when asked if you are sure that you want to remove ManyOne.
- You will be asked if you want to completely remove the ManyOne installation directory. Select Yes.
- If Windows Explorer appears, displaying the directory "C:\windows", simply close the window by clicking on its X button at the top right.
The ManyOne Application Suite should now be completely uninstalled from your system.
Note: If there is no ManyOne item in the Add or Remove Programs screen, as described in step 3 above, then the program has already been removed and you can continue to the next step.
- Step 3: Restart your computer
- About restarting your computer:
Restarting your computer can prevent many install and uninstall related problems by:
- clearing your computer's memory.
- closing extra background processes.
- closing any program that did not shut down properly.
We recommend that you close all running programs and then restart your computer before proceeding to the next step.
- Step 4: Install the ManyOne Application Suite
- Detailed Install Instructions:
Installation of the ManyOne Application Suite is simple:
- Run the ManyOne installer program, just as you would any other Windows-based installer, to begin the installation process.
- The installer will first decompress, which may take a few minutes.
- Once decompression has completed, you'll be presented with the Welcome screen of the ManyOne Setup Wizard.
- Click Next through the installer screens, making any necessary changes to the installation settings. (We recommend that you accept the Default settings unless you know that you need to change them.)
- Step 5: Account Setup

After the installation process completes:
- if you already have a an account configured on your computer, the browser will launch. If so, skip to the next step: "After Installing".
- if you do not yet have an account configured on your computer, the ManyOne Account Setup Wizard will appear. The wizard will assist you in setting up your computer for the Digital Universe and ManyOne Internet services.
Choose the appropriate option from the ManyOne Account Setup Wizard, and click the Next button to continue.
Select:
- "Set up user on this computer" if you've already signed up for The Digital Universe or ManyOne Internet Service.
- "Subscribe to...." if you wish to create a new Subscription for The Digital Universe or ManyOne Internet Service.
- ""Create additional user Account" if you have an existing Digital Universe or ManyOne Internet Subscription, and want to add an Account to your Subscription.
Follow the instructions provided in the wizard to complete Setup.
- Step 6: After Installing
- After installing: If you encounter any problems, please try the following, in this order:
- Close down the ManyOne Application Suite completely, including all browser and email windows, launch it again, and then try again to complete the action that resulted in the problem.
- If closing and restarting the program does not resolve the issue, close down all programs and restart your computer, and then try again.
- If you continue to encounter problems, please contact ManyOne Support for assistance.
